Rob Reich leads the Reich Fitzpatrick Private Wealth Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. Before founding the team, he worked in banking and at major Wall Street brokerage and investment firms.
Rob has closely watched and, at times, participated in the significant waves of innovation and change in the financial services industry over the last three decades. His strong principles and intense study of the marketplace are among the reasons he is able to help clients successfully navigate many of the opportunities, challenges, increased complexity, and heightened risks accompanying these industry trends.
Over the years, Rob has narrowed his professional focus to serving a select group of high-net-worth families, businesses, and institutional clients. And today, many of Rob’s individual clients have goals and values that are similar to his.
Rob developed an intense work ethic and an engrained moral code while growing up in a modest, middle-class home. Along the way, his participation in sports reinforced his resilience and determination to succeed. Mentors and colleagues supported Rob as he pursued his rewarding career, and today, he is committed to helping other people reach their goals, contribute to their communities, and enjoy their lives.
Rob has received many awards and recognitions. For example, he has been recognized by Forbes as a Best-in-State Wealth Advisor* every year between 2018-2022. He has also been recognized by Barrons as a Top 1,200 State-by-State Financial Advisor** every year between 2014-2021. Rob has been quoted in the Wall
Journal, as well as other publications and is frequently asked to speak at industry events.
Although Rob receives his share of industry recognition, he is most proud of the loyalty of his clients, many of whom have recommended the team to their friends, families, business associates, and nonprofit organizations. Their loyalty is reflected in the fact that more than half of his team’s client relationships have now expanded to include multiple family generations.
Rob lives in Alexandria, VA, with his wife of more than 35 years, Caroline, and their Labrador retriever, Arnie. In his free time, Rob enjoys cycling, reading broadly, writing, listening to music, and traveling. Rob and Caroline are active in philanthropy, with activities ranging from supporting service dogs to raising money to fight cancer or assisting local nonprofits.
