Sorting Out the Alphabet Soup

At some point in their lives, most everyone gets handed a business card with an indecipherable combination of letters & symbols after the name. Upon reviewing some of Bill’s designations, we realized many people might have had that moment when they were handed his card! Today we are demystifying the alphabet soup and speaking to how those designations make Bill a qualified resource on a broad range of topics.

  • AAMS® – Accredited Asset Management Specialist is a designation program for financial professionals through the College for Financial Planning.  The program provides advisors with strong fundamental financial knowledge with a specific focus on asset management and investments.
  • CES™ – Certified Estate and Trust Specialist is a designation program through the Institute of Business and Finance that expands Bill’s range of services to include estate planning and asset repositioning guidance.
  • CRPC® – Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor is a designation program for financial professionals through the College for Financial Planning to help experienced advisors define a road map to retirement. There is a focus on clients’ pre-retirement and post-retirement needs as well as issues related to asset management and estate planning.
  • AWMA™ – Accredited Wealth Management Advisor is a designation program for financial professionals through the College for Financial Planning designed for advisors who want to better address the unique needs of high-net-worth clients. The program contains sections dedicated to behavior finance, working with small business owners, and succession/exit planning.
