Global Investment Strategy (GIS)

The Global Investment Strategy team at Wells Fargo Investment Institute offers weekly investment strategy, market insights and possible impact on investors. GIS provides comprehensive market analysis, economic outlook, and investment recommendations across all asset classes. The division produces daily market commentary, weekly strategy reports, and thematic research covering global markets, commodities, and economic trends.

Fixed Income Strategy Team (FIST)

The Fixed Income Strategy Team specializes in bond market analysis, credit research, and fixed income portfolio strategies. This team provides expertise on government securities, corporate bonds, municipal bonds, and other fixed income instruments to support the institute's overall investment recommendations.

Operations Support Group (OSG)

The Options Strategy Group provides operational infrastructure and support services across Wells Fargo Investment Institute's various divisions, ensuring seamless execution of investment strategies and client service delivery.

Global Portfolio Management (GPM)

The Global Portfolio Management (GPM) is a leading team of global portfolio managers managing a centralized model portfolio program within GPM. The team leverages research and guidance from WFII's Global Investment Strategy, Global Alternative Investments, and Global Manager Research teams to build and manage WFII's model portfolios.

Global Alternative Investments (GAI)

Global Alternative Investments division, or GAI... offers investment advice with respect to a limited array of investments. It sponsors, manages and makes available privately offered investment funds appropriate for sophisticated investors and certain institutional investors. GAI focuses on hedge funds, private equity, private debt, real estate, and other alternative investment strategies for qualified investors.

 

Global Manager Research (GMR)

The GMR team conducts due diligence and provides research on the third-party money managers used throughout Wells Fargo Wealth & Investment Management (WIM). It includes a team of approximately 50 due diligence analysts who evaluate mutual funds, SMAs, exchange-traded funds, and alternative investments across all asset classes including equities, fixed income, real assets, and alternatives.
