I believe that my 36 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, underlines my ability and dedication to not only help sustain my clients' wealth, but to also help grow their portfolios. My passion includes, specializing in Private Client Wealth Management, Family Planning Services, and Income Enhancement strategies during Retirement. I have been named a Platinum Council of Wells Fargo every year since 2008.
I attended Furman University in Greenville, SC, where I attained a degree in Economics and Finance. I also played on the Golf team and was selected Captain of the team in 1981. Along with my golf scholarship, I also was an Army ROTC Scholarship recipient and served 4 years on active duty in the Armor branch after graduation. My financial services career began soon after my Army tenure ended and continues today.
My philanthropic interests have included serving as the Board Chair of the First Tee of Hampton Roads, elementary school reading programs, the Virginia Symphony orchestra, and many other local non-profit boards. My personal hobbies include golf, hunting, fishing, and enjoying the beach.
Currently, I live in Virginia Beach, VA with my wonderful wife, Janie. My two sons, Will and Tyler, have decided to take a similar path with their careers. Will is working in the Baltimore area. Tyler has been on the team since November 1st 2022, after spending 2 years in the St. Louis area, working at the firms headquarters.
The Platinum Council (previously known as Premier Advisor) distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by completion of educational components, business production based on the past year, and professionalism. Additional criteria, best practices and team structure, may also be used to determine recipients.
