My name is Lucas Widoff, and I have been a
Financial Advisor for about eight and a half years now
I am definitely competitive by nature and
naturally just growing up playing sports just have that good competitive side
Not looking to throw anybody under the bus
but definitely think that there is a benefit to being competitive.
Going in to college I was a journalism major,
I love sports, I wanted to be a high profile sports announcer
that was kind of my thing, I wanted to work for ESPN.
I realized it wasn’t kind of, what I thought it was going to be.
My dad was a financial advisor
as a kid growing up, watching him, seeing the relationships he had with his clients
was always attractive to me.
Again kept just kind of coming back around to wanting to be a financial advisor.
My family is first and foremost. I have two little girls
Jocelyn and Amelia. Jocelyn is four and Amelia is nine.
Always with my family, always doing stuff, we are pretty tight nit.
Every Friday night our family has movie night.
We take turns, we rotate who picks the movie.
Just being able to sit down on the couch with the family after a hard weeks
worth of work in sweat pants and watch a movie is probably when I am at my happiest.
There is two things that I love about the work that I do.
The relationships that I have with my clients, a lot of them are dear to me like family
and just being able to help them through different stages of their life, has just been very fulfilling.
and then the other piece is my team.
I think the biggest thing about our team is that we really truly do care about our clients.
Our job is really how can we help our clients,
and we make sure that our client’s needs are put first.
