Brian began his career as a Financial Advisor in 1999, and with an entrepreneurial background, has focused his career on assisting small-mid market owners and executives of privately-held businesses with preparing for future liquidity events. Early in his career, he recognized that traditional investment planning was ineffective for entrepreneurs because it failed to address the family’s most important asset: the business. He set out to build a comprehensive approach to private wealth management to better serve business owners and professionals with complex financials. Today, he leads KB and sets the vision for defining this effective and integrated approach to private wealth management.

Brian received a BA in Accounting and Finance from Merrimack College and has remained active with his alma mater, returning to give lectures on Finance, mentoring students and he previously served on the Advisory Council to the Girard School of Business. Brian was a member of IWI’s (Investment & Wealth Institute) Wealth Management and Curriculum Committees, where he developed educational and testing content in the areas of Executive/Privately Held Business Owner Planning for the Certified Private Wealth Advisor program (CPWA®). In 2018, Brian completed training for Wells Fargo’s Private Wealth FA program (PWFA). This is a select group of advisors focused on serving the unique needs of high-net-worth families.

Brian is an avid participant in many athletic and fitness activities, including skiing, martial arts, golf and hiking, all of which he enjoys doing with his wife Ryann and their three young children. During the spring months, Brian can be found coaching youth lacrosse & baseball in his town of Quincy. While experiencing foreign cultures remains a future dream, most travel is local to Martha’s Vineyard and North Conway. With a family background in construction, Brian loves a good home renovation project and works with Habitat for Humanity regularly to sharpen his DIY skills.

Chad began his career as a Financial Advisor in 2005, following an eight-year career as an engineer. After building his own wealth management practice for more than 14 years, he formed KB Private Wealth Management Group with fellow advisor and colleague, Brian Konish, in 2019. Chad takes a planning-based approach to develop, implement and actively manage an integrated wealth management plan customized for each client’s goals, priorities and risk tolerance. He also brings thoughtful insight to clients’ income planning, tax planning and estate planning strategies through coordination with other trusted advisors including tax and legal professionals.

Chad graduated with honors from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration
in Finance from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. In 2018, Chad attained the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) certification through the Investments & Wealth Institute. The CPWA® certification is an advanced, professional certification, designed for seasoned professionals who seek the latest, most advanced knowledge and techniques to address the sophisticated needs of high-net-worth clients. Whether it’s helping an executive strategize around a concentration in company stock or stock options, helping business owners with strategies to grow, protect and transition their businesses, or helping hard-working professionals plan for a comfortable retirement, Chad is prepared to help.

Chad and his wife Sarah live in Melrose with their boys, Graham and Drew, and their dog, Poppy. They enjoy being active in a variety of community activities, including volunteering at the boys’ elementary school and coaching youth baseball and flag football. As a family, they enjoy traveling, swimming, fishing, hiking, and skiing. Over the years, they have enjoyed frequent visits to two favorite spots: North Conway, NH (indulging in penny candy from Zeb’s General Store) and Sanibel-Captiva, FL (a favorite February destination). Chad is an avid sports fan and athlete—although his time on the field is now spent coaching vs. playing. He has traveled throughout Italy and is passionate about the study of the Italian language and culture.

Bonnie joined the firm in 2001. Her strong commitment to professional development has led to Bonnie’s role consistently evolving. For more than 20 years, Bonnie has worked closely with families during various life stages. As the client relationship manager, and head of the group’s operations, Bonnie is an instrumental team member in delivering integrated wealth management services to our clients, including bringing together the professional network of advisors.

Bonnie is a fully registered financial professional, and has earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) designation, awarded by the College for Financial Planning. Bonnie graduated with a BA in Communications from Keene State College.

Originally from Granby, CT, Bonnie has been a resident of Massachusetts for over 20 years and currently resides in Beverly, MA with her husband, Erik and her children, Lily & Owen. She enjoys beach and boating activities along the New England coastline from Provincetown, MA to Plum Island Sound. An avid movie fan, Bonnie keeps up to date on the latest releases. During the pandemic, Bonnie purchased a Peloton bike and discovered her passion for at-home spin and strength classes.

Nancy serves as the team’s Client Associate, handling all administrative and operational tasks. Nancy is the team’s first point of contact and serves as liaison between our clients and various departments within the firm, assuring our clients are provided concierge servicing. She also manages all internal procedures and systems, which are essential for delivering integrated wealth management services to our clients.

Nancy graduated with honors from UMass Boston with a BA in Psychology, and has a background in hospitality. With extensive customer service experience and a Lean Six Sigma Certification, Nancy takes pride in putting clients first and strives to exceed expectations.

Nancy lives on Cape Cod with her dogs and chickens. In her free time, she enjoys being on the water, art, hiking, cooking and traveling, as well as volunteering with the Hearts and Paws Comfort Dogs.
