For Jennifer, who’s spent her entire 31-year career in the financial services field, it’s not just a job, it’s a calling. In fact, she loves helping people achieve financial confidence so much, even after all she’s accomplished, she can’t imagine doing anything else.
Her admiration for the people closest to her inspired Jennifer to pursue a business education. But it was taking a course in investing during her pursuit of her Bachelor of Finance degree at Missouri State University that changed the course of her future. She realized that by channeling her interest in finance and investing, toward serving the needs of people and their families rather than companies, she had discovered her professional passion.
Helping People Live Their Best Lives
Now Jennifer is invested in bringing structure and continuity to what she knows is a very emotional part of everyone’s lives — their financial security. Markets can be unpredictable, and change is a constant. But Jennifer’s deep experience has shown her there’s real strength in empowerment, so she bases her philosophy on helping her clients live well by controlling what they can and preparing for what they can’t.A life-long learner, Jennifer continues to work on building new skills to meet the challenges of an evolving world. As a Retirement Income Certified Planner® (RICP®) she helps ensure that the wealth her clients have worked their whole lives to build will help them live the lives they want to for years to come.
Outside the Office
Jennifer and her husband, Steve, raised their two children, Sophie and Jack, in their longtime hometown of Chesterfield. Now an empty nester, she is an advocate for growing financial literacy within her community. Jennifer believes in instilling personal financial skills early in life by volunteering her time educating students at a local middle school. Here she teaches children how to be responsible savers, spenders, and investors. She enjoys seeing them learn through the critical thinking process and hopes to continue volunteering. And who knows? Maybe she’ll help one of those kids discover their own life-long career passion. Jennifer sure hopes so.
