While some people discover their financial career path in school, you might say it has always been in Melissa’s blood, because her dad’s career in finance sparked her interest from a very young age. But more than his field of work, it was the work ethic, attention to the details, and genuine care for his clients that made a lasting impression. After your first conversation with Melissa, you’ll realize her deep-rooted aspirations now make her an inspiration to the next generation of Financial Advisors.

A graduate of Miami University with a degree in Business Administration, Melissa joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 2011, where she offers a high-touch client service model with a strategic focus on wealth planning.
 

Building Relationships for a Lifetime and Beyond

Melissa relishes making complex financial situations easier to understand and helping people do what they may feel unable to do on their own. She feels her personal approach allows her to form more intimate, 1-on-1 relationships with her clients, many of whom have become like family to her.

Her clients’ emotional needs are important to her — Melissa feels privileged to be there to celebrate beautiful life moments with them and help them weather difficult ones, too. From being one of the first calls her clients make to celebrate the birth of their first grandchild to being the guiding hand for a grieving spouse after an unexpected loss, Melissa is a constant her clients rely on in their lives.  

Melissa’s infectious personality and admired financial acumen make her loved by not only her clients, but also her peers. When the opportunity came to join practices with fellow financial advisors turned close friends who serve their clients with the same dedication as her, Melissa jumped at the opportunity to form Fourte Group of Wells Fargo Advisors in 2025. 
 

Outside the Office

Melissa has been married for over 20 years and has two boys: Trey, a senior who’s committed to playing golf in college, and Tanner, for whom Melissa is a committed “hockey mom.”

She is dedicated to helping her local community through her involvement and support of several non-profit organizations.  When she’s not cheerleading at her kids’ many sports events or volunteering within her community, Melissa practices yoga, hikes, and enjoys going on long walks with her dog, Lyla.
