Bob Wacker, CRPC
Managing Director - InvestmentsA Financial Advisor is a trusted partner, looking out for your best interests, who can help you reach your financial goals. The Wacker Financial Group believes this involves a process of prioritizing goals, developing and implementing strategies and continually monitoring clients’ progress and successes.
Background and experience
Bob began his career in the securities industry over 20 years ago in Chicago as a trader and banker before becoming an Advisor in 2006. He earned his Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designation, CRPC, from the College for Financial Planning in 2008. His process and dedication to helping clients reach their goals has led Bob to be recognized both internally at Wells Fargo, as well as in National Publications - most recently by Forbes as one of the Best-In-State Advisors*. Bob is proud to be one of a select number of Wells Fargo Advisors to earn his Portfolio Investment Manager, PIM, designation that allows the Wacker Financial Group to customize portfolios for clients within a disciplined investment strategy.
Away from the office
Outside of the office, Bob and his wife Kate are active with their children’s many sport & artistic activities. Raised in the St. Louis region, both are dedicated to serving the community and have served on a variety of non-profit organization boards and committees including the Regional Business Council’s Social Venture Partners, Loyola Academy of STL, SLUH, Variety the Children’s Charity, Boys Hope Girls Hope STL, Sacred Heart Villa, Insight Theatre & the alumni chapter for Loyola U. Chicago. In his free time, Bob loves to coach his children’s teams, play pickleball, ski & golf as well as cheer on the local STL sports teams.

Matt Wacker, MBA
First Vice President – InvestmentsThe foundation of a relationship with a Financial Advisor is built on mutual trust and integrity. The Wacker Financial Group earns the trust of clients and garners their commitment by developing challenging, but attainable financial goals. Their diligent process strives to exceed expectations by delivering the highest level of service and always looking out for their clients’’ best interests.
Background and experience
Matt earned is Bachelors and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Missouri. Matt’s career started in Saint Louis at Scottrade, Inc. in 2010 where he worked as a Senior Analyst. He transitioned to his current role of Financial Advisor when he joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 2016. As a Financial Advisor, Matt has dedicated himself serving his clients. Matt emphasizes developing meaningful relationships with his clients. This allows him to fully understand what is most important their lives and build a plan specifically tailored to their unique goals.
Away from the office
Away from the office, Matt and his wife Emily remain busy, trying to keep up with their two daughter’s school, sports, and dance schedules. Both Matt and Emily were born and raised in the St. Louis region and are dedicated to enhancing and enriching their community. Matt and Emily have served as Board Members, Committee Members, and/or Advocates for several local organizations including Loyola Academy of St. Louis, Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, rEcess (99 Balloons), SLUH, and Sacred Heart of Villa. Matt and Emily are passionate in their love for travel, skiing, golf, and the Saint Louis University (SLU) Billiken’s basketball program.

Stephanie Reynolds
Senior Registered Client AssociateThe focus of a client associate is to support the financial advisor role, essentially bringing their recommendations for clients into reality through the correct procedures and processes.
Background and experience
Stephanie has been in the financial industry for over 10 years. Stephanie’s career started at Morgan Keegan in 2006 where she worked as a client associate. She transitioned with Bob to Wells Fargo Advisors in 2013.
As a client associate, Stephanie is committed to helping her team and clients succeed by looking at the “whole picture” to find the best result and bringing that to fruition. She enjoys knowing the team’s clients as individuals with unique circumstances and goals.
Away from the office
Stephanie and her husband Jim have 3 kids and a rescued beagle, and they live in south St. Louis City. Stephanie attended UMSL and graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration.
Out of the office, Stephanie and her family enjoy camping in the “pop-up,” fishing and most other outdoor activities. Stephanie enjoys volunteering at her kids’ schools and attending their sporting events.

Cheryl Straatmann
Senior Registered Client AssociateA client associate’s role is to support the financial advisor and his/her clientele. The associate provides an additional layer of knowledge to the behind the scenes operational functions.
Background and experience
Cheryl began her career in the securities industry with a small boutique firm in Clayton, MO. She joined Wells Fargo Advisors over 20 years ago and has held various positions within the organization. These other experiences give her some additional insight into both internal & external processes. She is highly dedicated to helping clients navigate the various procedures using her years of expertise. She is delighted to be aligned with the Wacker Financial Group of Wells Fargo Advisors and their approach to both client and team member success.
Away from the office
Outside of the office, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family and most certainly her pets. She was raised in St. Louis, but spent many years in Texas and 1 year in southern France. She graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas with degrees in International Business and French. In her free time, she loves horses, glamping and trail riding with friends.

2022 Five Star Wealth Manager
This award was issued on October 1st, 2022 by Five Star Professional (FSP) for the time period January 24th, 2022 through July 22nd, 2022. Wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list of Five Star Wealth Managers. The award is based on 10 objective criteria. Eligibility criteria – required: 1. Credentialed as a registered investment adviser or a registered investment adviser representative; 2. Actively licensed as a registered investment adviser or as a principal of a registered investment adviser firm for a minimum of 5 years; 3. Favorable regulatory and complaint history review (As defined by FSP, the wealth manager has not; A. Been subject to a regulatory action that resulted in a license being suspended or revoked, or payment of a fine; B. Had more than a total of three settled or pending complaints filed against them and/or a total of five settled, pending, dismissed or denied complaints with any regulatory authority or FSP’s consumer complaint process. Unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through FSP’s consumer complaint process; feedback may not be representative of any one client’s experience; C. Individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint; D. Filed for personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years; E. Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients.
